About You

The role of Mortgage Broker (Graduate) is to provide a high level of professional support to the Managing Director by managing all loans from submission to settlement. 

The technical skills you have are what we call our four C’s: 

  • Care: you genuinely care about helping your clients. You live by the motto: “People don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care” 
  • Choice: comparing lenders and finding options is all part of your research and finding ways to structure your client’s loans
  • Communication: you update your clients on time and manage their expectations. They value your proactiveness and professionalism as they don’t want to chase you for updates
  • Consistency: Your repeat and loyal clients get the same level of high service you provided the first time around. 

On a day to day basis, your responsibilities will include: 

  • Complete lender servicing calculators accurately to ensure we can outline a clients borrowing power
  • Deliver first-class customer service to all your clients, providing them with regular updates on their loan application & ensuring their loan reaches settlement
  • Manage loan applications that have upcoming cooling-off / finance dates and settlements to ensure Formal Approvals & Settlements are actioned by the Banks within the required timeframes
  • Print & prepare loan documents to be sent to our clients and sign loan documents with our clients
  • Work with our internal team to ensure you hand over loan applications with detailed notes, ensuring the best client experience
  • Commit to professional and personal growth through our on-the-job training and industry development days
  • Manage your emails in our Atelier Wealth shared email inbox, aiming for Zero Inbox each day, this will involve sending email responses to clients, assigning tasks to team members and then archiving emails
